Hello all! Im applying for the DTV at the London Embassy. Just wondering if I book a flight a couple of months in advance can I still go ahead and apply for the visa now or should I wait nearer the time? Thank you!
I applied 18 june for the DTV , passed al documents ; and since 21 june i wait for the approval
I am planning to leave 17th July from Cambodia to Thailand so I hope to have the visa in due time, however if that would not be the case and the visa would be granted after 17th july , can i then simply got to thailand 60 days with EU pasport, return september to cambodia and then use the DTV
in other words, if they grant the visa how many days you have before entering Thailand ??
I’m going to appy DTV visa in Hanoi next month and im going to stay there for 8 days (haven’t booked the return flight yet). Should be enough for 8 days?
I have a few questions if anyone could give me some advice. I would appreciate so much!
1. I am online trader from UK and been living in Thailand for 1 years.
2. How long does it take to get Visa and Is there a high chance that my visa will be rejected because I am not the employed?
3. If a visa is rejected , should I appeal immediately? Or how long do I have to wait before applying again?
Good morning. I am looking to apply for the DTV from the UK using soft power either culinary or muy Thai. I’ve read on here that it’s better to apply sooner rather than later even though I don’t intend to come out until later this year. I am coming for a short holiday next month though so should I apply for DTV in time for that or come out on a 60 day tourist visa? I Have everything I need for the DTV apart from the course. I’m just not sure how the course part works if I don’t plan to start it until October. I know that the visa is 5 years and there is no requirement to arrive by any particular time but since I have to submit course documents would the embassy question why I am applying now for a course that starts later this year? Plus also coming out next month for a 2 week stay?
Hello everyone. We (retired 59 & 63), have started an Non O A application from home in Canada. We aren't arriving in Thailand until April 25, so what to do about the health insurance. AXA only do it for 12 mth increments. Not planning on arriving before April, and then, only to actively look for properties. We wanted to start the process to see if we had all the paperwork in place. Should we wait and complete the application at a later date?
I am really confused about the "location" part of the visa application. I am currently traveling for 6 months, so do I put the location of where I actually am at this moment? I am not a resident in my current location, the only thing I can supply is my airbnb receipt. I am applying via Evisa, not in person. Also is is true you should not apply any more than 3 months in advance? I don't see how this would be relevant because the visa is not activated until when you arrive in Thailand, corret? Thanks in advance for any help!!
Hi All, so I have been back from my first Thailand now two weeks and already booked to go again in July two weeks ago. Next year I am wanting to go for 60 days and apply for the 60 day tourist visa. Is the best way to do this online? If so, when should I apply for it in time? For example, let's say I am aiming to go January 10th next year how long before this should I apply? Thank you for your help
