Does it make any time difference if i take Visa from here back in India or if take VoA on landing? is immigration faster or same? (I know it's cheaper to take Visa from India vs VoA, i am trying to understand if time wise it makes any difference for me post landing)

TLDR : Answer Summary
When considering whether to obtain a tourist visa from India or a visa on arrival (VoA) in Thailand, the key difference lies in the duration of stay and potential wait times. A tourist visa obtained in India allows for a 60-day stay, while a VoA permits only 15 days. Post-landing immigration times may also vary based on flight arrivals, with queues dependent on how many passengers land simultaneously.

Depends how long you want to stay. Visa from India will give you 60 days. A visa on arrival will allow 15 days. The queues for post landing will depend entirely on how many flights land just before yours.

No one can say for sure. It really depends on how many others are trying VOA before you or how many flights land just before yours. Perhaps you’ll breeze through either lane. Perhaps not. If you want to stay more than 15 days then your only option is to get a visa before coming here.

ok basically there is single queue for immigration whether one has any type of Visa.

No. it’s a separate queue for people with visas (or exempt) and another queue for VOA.
