When does a TR visa start: upon application or arrival in Thailand?
Before applying for a TR visa you need a flight and a hotel booked - does the visa begin from the date you arrive in Thailand or is it stamped the moment they send it? Example - if I have flight booked to return in 60 days from the 1st of March and they send visa 15th feb - Is there a shortfall ?

Anyone know the chances of getting the TR visa approved? I know it’s a hard question to answer, but curious if anyone here has been denied. Can you try again if unsuccessful? Sent my application off today.

I just applied and you have to show flight booking and booked hotel accommodation. For Australia anyway, maybe it’s different for other counties.

You dont need to book the flight and hotel. Just the intended date to fly and intended hotel to stay.

I'm afraid things have changed. My TR60 was refused this week because I did not include flight and hotel bookings. London Embassy.

Just put your intended flight and hotel. You dont have to book it. You'll need to book them for the Thai Pass but not the visa.Steve *******

The TR visa is valid for 90 days from the date it is stamped into your passport (or when you receive email). Once you enter Thailand you will be stamped in for 60 days.
