TLDR : Answer Summary
For a 90-day trip to Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, you can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days if you are a USA citizen. Before your 30 days are up in Thailand, you should travel to Vietnam where you will need to obtain a preapproved visa. In Cambodia, you can get a visa on arrival. After visiting these countries, you can return to Thailand for an additional 30 days visa exemption.

Have you checked Embassy websites for the countries you plan to visit?

That should always be your first step.

If you are a USA citizen, you could enter Thailand, visa free… And stay up to 30 days. At some point before those 30 days are up, go to Vietnam… There you will need to be preapproved for a visa, which is a simple process… And then go to Cambodia..... and get VISA on arrival.

After that, you can go back to Thailand and get another 30 days Visa exempt

Please go to the Vietnam embassy website. You are just being lazy; why not do basic research first, then ask questions?

the official Vietnam Government evisa website is this one. It costs $25 USD and takes around 3 to 5 working days to get. It's all done online. Here is the link:

correct. And ya know why? Vietcong are still looking for war criminals. Can't blame 'em for doing a check on Yankees before they let 'em in

interesting that a German is mentioning U.S. war crimes. Neither country has a clean history.

if you don't like my explanation, why Vietnam asks for pre-arranged visa for U.S. citizens, then you'd better stay clear of South East Asia, and join the great force of stvpid uninformed Americans. Do you want to know why you are not welcomed in Laos? Because Americans dropped more tons of bomb load onto Laos than they dropped onto Germany in WWII. USA killed tens of thousands of innocent people. in Laos. And sprayed large areas with illegal cluster bombs, which are still unexploded ordnance, and still cause injuries and deaths until today. Does America take responsibility? No, they don't. So you better just accept what people in these places think of you

Update:

Here is the email of the company that I used. Worked out fine for me.

Look at the Thai/Vietnam/Cambodia Embassy websites in the country where you reside to see what your passport gets you
Glen *******
@Graham *****
Thailand gives you 30 days automatically, Cambodia also, Vietnam you need to go on the website and apply for 30 day visa
Gregor **********
@Glen ******
you need to buy a visa-on-arrival for Cambodia, costs 40.- USD. You don't need that for the 30-days visa exempt entering Thailand. And Vietnam is another story

@Gregor *********
UK citizens get 45 days visa exemption. US citizens need to apply for a e-visa or visa upon arrival. Germans 45 days visa exemption as well.
Graham ******
@Glen ******
That depends on your passport, I got a Visa to enter Canbodia (full page in my passport)

hello sir I am a US citizen. Will I need all three visas or is there a combo package that you know of? As I don't know how long I will be in each country depending on the fun levels!
Graham ******
@Biff **************************
If you stay in Thailand for 30 days or less you don't need a Visa, for the other two you will require Visas just to enter.
Brandon ************
@Biff **************************
there's no such thing as a visa combo package.
