Not sure if this information is relevant, but I thought maybe someone might find it helpful:

DTV Approved

15 days total, including 2 weekends and a US holiday

They asked for my bank statements twice, but that was the only hold up

Washington embassy (from Texas)

Bangkok Thai Cooking school 2-week program provided the letter I needed with a $500 deposit.
