Im preparing my DTV application and would love to get insights from those who applied recently, especially through the Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv or HCMC (Saigon). I have a few specific challenges:
1. New Business Registration: I am registering as a 'Self-Employed' (CPA-certified) business in Israel this week (Content Creator & Financial Trader). Has anyone successfully received the DTV with a business registered only a few days/weeks prior to the application? Did the embassy demand months of past invoices, or was a CPA letter and registration certificate enough?
2. Recent Bank Deposit: My 500k THB (60k ILS) was recently moved into my current account from a savings account. Will the embassy reject this as a 'artificial balance,' or is a current statement sufficient as long as I can prove the source of funds if asked?
3. Proof of Assets (Real Estate): I own an apartment in Israel. Does providing a Land Registry (Tabu) or a Rental Income Agreement help solidify the application in case the business is new?
4. Location Strategy (Tel Aviv vs. HCMC): Since I am currently in Israel, should I try applying here first? If I get rejected due to the business being too new, will it negatively impact a second application in HCMC (Saigon) a few months later once I have more invoices and 'business age'?
5. Re-applying: Has anyone here been rejected and then successfully applied a few months later at a different embassy?
Would appreciate any recent data points! Thanks in advance
DTV was denied, I'm so sad. In the US, it takes 14 days and $400. They said I spelled my name wrong and didn't match my documents. My middle name has a "-" in it, and it was not included on the passport page. I let their automated passport reader fill out the text fields. I should have double-checked. Any way I have to be out of my house in the US by August 1st. So I was thinking of just flying to Hanoi and getting it there. I also have a wife and 3 kids I have to account for. My main question is, do you think the Thai government might think this is suspicious?
Anyone familiar with how one goes about reapplying Non-Immigrant R (religion) visa for ordained monastics once it's no longer extendable after 5 or 10 years extension (depending on what country's passport you hold) and do they set any limit as to how many times it can be reapplied (if not lifetime?).
Also, is it true one doesn't necessarily have to have Non-Imm R visa to become a monk in Thailand just like one doesn't necessarily have to have Non-Imm B to work in Thailand (I was told so by immigration official at Chaeng Wattana)? I don't think you can be a monk under Non-Imm B, but how about retirement visa or under Thailand Elite program?
Hi all, I had a 1 year non immigrant retirement visa but unfortunately I missed the criteria for extension and took out the money before 3 months. I later found out and put back the money to make the balance back to 800k. Anyone had experiences ? Am i able to get the 1 year extension? If not, what should I do? Do i need to go back to the country where I am from and wait and fly to Thailand as a tourist and restart the whole thing again? Any advices? Thanks!!
