Hi everyone. Quick question.

I don’t have a university degree but I fluently speak English, Japanese and Italian. Would I still be able to get a working visa and thus, a company willing to sponsor me? Or is it unrealistic??

Re Extension of Visa due to Circumstances in the Gulf and the recent notice from Thai Immigration re overstays and extensions.

Does this apply to people on all Visas?

A friend is on a working visa that will shortly expire and won't be renewed. Presumably he cannot extend his working visa as he won't be continuing to work. Does he have any other options with regards to extending whilst these special circumstances are in place regarding the Gulf and travel?

It seems like we might be going into a situation similar to COVID. Note he is British and the British Embassy will not be issuing letters to support extensions. The British Embassy rarely does anything to help British citizens.... compared to other countries.

Adding... after reading a reply to make the post more specific. He hasn't had a flight cancelled and doesn't have one booked. His working visa expires on March 20th.

Thanks in advance.

I applied in manila thai embassy, submitted all my working visa documents in the PH and my proof that i can work remotely. After my visa was rejected, i plan on going to TH via the visa free route but found out i was blacklisted in TH. Their reason for Blacklist is incorrect. How do i go on about this? They said my ICard should not be issued to foreigners and that they have suspicions of fake document. But only foreigners are issued icard and not local filipinos. My guess is that the consul is not familiar with Philippine documents. How can they blacklist if they are not sure. Immigration can certainly issue a CTC of the documents i submitted

Hey guys, wanted to inquire something, I recently got my student visa renewed by my university, they gave me an Ed Plus visa with re-entry exemption.

Now, my question is, I am currently doing my internship in Bangkok, and will most likely end up working full time in this company, in this case, I have read that having an ED plus visa means I don't need to go out of Thailand back to my country to apply for non immigrant B visa, apparently the new ed plus visa lets me convert my visa to working visa from Thailand, regardless of which country passport I hold, can someone please confirm this? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Wish to check. Having a Thai marriage visa is eligible for yearly tax return when I work in Thailand ? I'm currently on working visa now and got to know I'm not eligible for tax return if I continue to be on working visa.

Hello, I’m currently volunteering and have recently been offered a teaching position. My school is very supportive, but I’m curious about visa matters. Has anyone here successfully switched from a Non-O visa to a Non-B visa within Thailand? I’m under the impression that in-country visa conversions might be mostly available for tourists on visa exemptions or tourist visas. I’m eager to know if it’s possible to complete the process without leaving the country. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any foreign investor here? If I do not get an investor/elite visa, I intend to apply for a working visa as optional. From my understanding, If I want to start a tour company here, it appears that a local partnership with 51% ownership is required. The information I found online is quite out of date. Is this policy still in effect these days. Also, I discovered that there are numerous unregistered companies with no licenses operating tours in Thailand. (ex. [members only], [members only]/) Are the laws allowing this? They don't seem to be in any trouble. I'm looking for advice on starting a tour business in Thailand and I can't seek a clear information about it. What kind of visa and license do I need? I heard there is more than one license required. This is a little confusing.
