Im currently in Thailand on a visa exemption on holiday and I want to apply for a DTV for remote working. My plan is to go to Vietnam to apply. I have a spouse and 2 kids. Do I need to get my DTV approved before I submit their applications? Does anyone have experience of this and any timeframes? šŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently in Thailand on a visa exemption and intends to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) while abroad in Vietnam. They inquire if their DTV needs to be approved before they can submit visa applications for their spouse and two kids. Responses indicate that the DTV must be approved first, with an approval timeframe of about 2 weeks, followed by an additional 2 weeks for the family visas, suggesting a total stay of roughly a month for the application process.
