TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a remote working visa for consultancy or remote work in Thailand, applicants typically need to provide a letter from their employer confirming their remote work arrangements, job offer letter, latest payslips, and potentially bank statements showing income deposits. Requirements might vary by embassy, with some requiring additional documentation such as registration paperwork for the employer. A thorough and clear application increases the chances of approval.

Depending on embassy but the more detail you put into it, and easier you make the application is to read the higher chance of approval. You need to meet the minimum requirements first of all. After that is just nice to have information to make your application look good and make you seem like a good person for Thailand aswell.

Some 2-3 core requirements are common, but everything else is embassy specific, with some being notorious for stupid requirements, such as Malaysia (why would you have a long-lease in Thailand if you've never ever visited before).

Varies by embassy, but a letter from HR showing that you can work remotely from Thailand, your job offer letter or some letter confirming you work there. Some embassies want to see paychecks / invoices and then see the related deposits in your bank account. A few embassies require more details on your employer- registration paperwork, etc.
