I plan to have four trips per year to Thailand each year for around five weeks.

I am a condo owner.

Would you expect me to have any issues entering the country.

Or would it be wise to get a DTV at this time.

A concern I have is the 90 day reporting as I may be out of country at times for up the 120 days and would that cause an issue.

Hi everyone!

I have a DTV visa as a remote worker, and my wife also received a DTV visa as my dependent. She also has her own remote business, but all of her clients are back home — none are in Thailand.

My question is: Is she legally allowed to continue working remotely from Thailand even though her DTV visa is issued as my dependent? And if immigration asks what she does here, can she openly say that she works remotely for clients outside of Thailand?

Thanks in advance for any advice or experience!

Planning to apply for soft power DTV visa in Hanoi.

My current funds are on Wise. Should I transfer everything to Revolut then apply? It would be the right amount.

Please advise. I can also show both accounts I guess.

Revolut has my daily spending.

Wise has my clients transfers.

Hello,

For the extension of visa marriage, they ask a map to residence( with longitude and latitude coordinates.) How we do that? Do you have example?

Thanks

Hi:) question. I flew in with 60 day visa exemption from the states very end of september. Did 30 day extension end of November and now that ends december 28th.

I heard chiang mai (where I am) is still doing border runs to laos, with for someone like me - first border run and flew in with one visa exempt this year - i would do the 3 day 2 night option.

But, I know it can be risky. You think it would be better to just leave the country for like 2 weeks and then come back and use an immigration service which would easily get me past border control at airport?

Idk what the better options would be.

Especially because once january 13th comes along - my passport will be at its 6month mark (it expires july 13 2026).

And once id get back in with 60 days, i would renew my passport here. Stay 60 days and do an extension (clean slate for new year granting 30 days, Ya think?)

Or, better to just fly and renew my passport in another country and then fly in using immigration service Friendly Thai Visa Services ??

Anyones legit opinions can help me make a decision, thank you.

My one friend said to do land border run and if it doesnt work out then go to another country, renew my passport and try to fly back in. But idk.

To note again, i only have one visa exempt when i flew in in september 30 2025.

Hi everyone, I’m in the process of applying for DTV (workation) in London. I’ve lived and worked in Thailand for the last 4 years on Non-B and work permit, but recently got a remote job based in the U.K. I’ll be back London at the time of application and will remain there until I hear back from the embassy.

Any tips from people who have applied in London in this category?

🙏
