Hello,

For the extension of visa marriage, they ask a map to residence( with longitude and latitude coordinates.) How we do that? Do you have example?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a marriage visa in Thailand, you may need to provide a map of your residence showing longitude and latitude coordinates. Options include creating a hand-drawn map, using Google Maps for a screenshot, or utilizing an app like GPS Coordinates for accurate data. It’s noted that some authorities may not accept printed Google Maps, so hand-drawn or compatible formats are preferred.

Install the app called GPS Coordinates from Appstorr on your phone then screenshot it.

Can also use any other apps available on the Play store. There are plenty. Good luck.

I am speculating that they do not want to see you can look up an address on google.

But instead you can tell them how to get to your home in your own draw diagram. Somehow convincing them you actually live there πŸ˜‚

On a Computer:

Open Google Maps in your web browser.

Navigate to the desired location on the map.

Right-click on the specific spot or area. A pop-up window will appear.

At the top of this window, you will find the latitude and longitude in decimal format.

Click on the coordinates to copy them to your clipboard.

On a Mobile Device (iOS or Android):

Open the Google Maps app.

Tap and hold the desired location on the map until a red pin appears.

Swipe up on the panel that appears at the bottom of the screen.

The GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) will be displayed under the address or location details.
