Got DTV visa

I have a question regarding the Thailand DTV (Destination Thailand Visa).

When I applied for my DTV visa, I submitted proof of remote work showing that I was employed by a specific company.

My question is: What happens if I change my employer during the validity of my DTV visa?

I’ve seen several posts where people mentioned that Thai immigration sometimes asks for updated proof of remote work during re-entry or when using the visa for the second or third time.

So, if I change my company but continue working remotely (with a new employer), will immigration expect me to still be employed by the same company I listed during the DTV application?

Or is it acceptable as long as I continue remote work and meet the financial requirements?

Would appreciate insights from anyone who has faced this situation

Well tickle my arse with a feather (old English saying), so what's the panic about the Thai taxman hitting Farang remitances?

I am on my ED visa 15 months.

End of this month it gonna expire.

My job is busy make papers for new visa I am not sure or they will be on time before my ED running out.

If its not. Do I have other options instead of leave Thailand to get some more time for the visa they are preparing for me?

Maybe tourist visa or something like that?

Applied and accepted for DTV. Since it's a long stay I've booked a one way flight. Is the DTV visa enough to satisfy the airline or do I still need proof of onward travel?

Where is the exact building and office to do my 90 day check in, in bangkok, is it the exact same location as vusa extensions or is it in another location?

Got my DTV in mid-june but will be able to go to Thailand only at the beginning of October.

Do you think it will be a problem?

Some visas should be activated no later than three months after they are given. Is it also the case for the DTV?

Does anyone has experienced going to Thailand with a DTV delivered more than three months before his arrival date?

So I left Thailand and reentered on my DTV back in April. Today I went to report my address for the 90 day report.

Had all my documents in order (or so I thought).

I did not know you needed a TM30 for each time you exit and reenter Thailand. Immigration official’s smile immediately fades when she looks me up in the system and asks why my TM30 is dated for July and not April.

Well, “There was a typo in my name”, I said.

She said, “No, where is your TM30 for April. You only have two TM30s. Where is owner. Charge ฿1600. Contact owner right now. Do not leave. You call I speak to owner.”

Condo Owner: not responding to texts or calls

Me: the genius who left his wallet back at the condo, because, “Oh, immigration is just a short stroll to the beach, I’ll be in and out.”

Currently sitting here hoping they’ll let me return with the money. Each time they ask for owner, they just get angrier and angrier. Dear God

Update: They let me come back with the money. Got my receipt and I swear to God I’ll never make that mistake again 🤣

I have a question about the soft dtv visa. Are you legally allowed to work online as well? Obviously you're not allowed to work for Thai clients; are you allowed to freelance online for non Thai residents whilst staying in Thailand with a DTV soft power visa?
