Hi, I just got my DTV approved, somehow was quite stressed because I had no idea that I was required to cancel my current business visa and work permit, since I had a friend who did it that way when DTV was launched, did not think about that at all (things were probably more relaxed at the start)

I guess I was lucky they did not ask for full passport pages copies ..

Now my question is : what should I do at immigration when arriving to Thailand ? My initial plan was that I could simply stamp in with the new DTV, and then immediately proceed to cancel my work permit at my local immigration ..

Does that sound like the right thing to do ? Do I risk to get into trouble at immigration check for not canceling my business visa and work permit prior to applying for DTV ?

Thanks for any informations :)

Applying for DTV. I have enough money in my bank account but it’s currently in a fixed term savings account. Is this ok or does it strictly need to be in an account I can access whenever? Thanks

1. can I reschedule and change return ticket to earlier date? It says my visa valid from 24 October but I did tell them that my flight return ticket is on 30th October

2. what is the process for dtv holder when I enter immigration ? What do I need to do or bring

3. what is the rules once I am in the country as dtv holder? Can someone explain the 90 days report and 180 days . Like what would you recommend me to do

Hey all

Has anyone had experience with the Sydney embassy, and whether they want to see the 500.000 baht in your account for three months, or if just having it in there for a undisclosed amount of time is ok?

Because apparently different embassies have different requirements.

Thanks.

Should I notify my landlord to update my TM30 each time I come back to Thailand?

Hi guys, sorry for the weird question.

I am in Thailand on dtv, I know the TM30 "resets" each time I leave and enter Thailand. I do frequent flights due to my business ( around every 2-3 months) and don't want to bother my landlord each time I enter, is it required by law to update the tm 30 each time or is it only required when I need it for something ( at immigration etc) ?
