TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling to Bangkok on a non-immigrant O spouse visa, you can indicate various purposes such as "visit family" or simply "holiday". It's generally advisable to leave the return flight date blank, especially if you're planning to stay long term. However, some travelers suggest that a return or onward ticket might be necessary to avoid issues during boarding. Ultimately, experiences vary, with some recent travelers mentioning they faced no questions regarding their travel details.

I came through last week from the uk, same visa as you. I just put car, and some random date inside my visa period. Got through easily, no questions asked

Forget immigration you may be turned away boarding without a return or onward flight out of Thailand

Just say holiday. Don't need a return flight not even for TDAC. You can sort it when you need to in Thailand. If you want feel at ease get a multi entry fir 6 months. Or get a cheap ticket for about 20 dollars to leave (p. Me to get tge link). Better still go immigration not a problem. They won't even bother pal.

Purpose of travel is “ visit family”. Leave the departure fields blank. Don’t even click on them or they become mandatory

Air. If you have a return flight then yes but if you are going to live in Thailand long term and only got a single ticket then you can't.
