TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their experience of having their soft power DTV visa application rejected in Jakarta and is considering reapplying in Laos. They inquired if others had any recent successes with the application process in Laos. Sorry to hear this. I was approved today for my soft power Muay Thai visa, took about 9 working days with multiple requests for documentation. I was preparing to be rejected but was pleasantly surprised.

That is too bad you were rejected but many are approved 2nd time around. Did you receive requests for further paperwork? How long was your SP course?. There are recent Lao approvals in the threads.
