Hello; new here and hopefully this is a simple question. US citizens, first visit to Thailand, arriving by air to BKK 1/11/2026 staying until 1/31/2026 flying to Luang Prabang from Chiang Mai and flying back to Chiang Mai on 2/5/2026 with plans to visit the southern area of Thailand for at least three weeks. Have not booked our departure flight out of BKK to Hanoi yet. On the government website, what would be the correct tourist visa to apply for? When we fly to Laos and back, does that "reset" the clock? Will we need to show our onward ticket to Hanoi, or somewhere else outside of Thailand? Thanks.

Trying to complete TDAC form online and "Accommodation Information" is not accepting inputs but am able to complete.

Submitted without accommodation and received email with arrival card???

Has anyone arrived from the UK this month and had problems because they did not have a VISA because we have an automatic 60 day visa for UK passport holders?

There so much contridictory information including on the Thai Government website.

I applied for a thai tourist visa 3 weeks ago and I haven't gotten a response from the Thai embassy. My intended travel date is 28th of July 2025. I was contacted by the embassy through my agent that the photograph of my passport book needs to resent as the one I sent wasn't clear. I had to resend it alongside a copy of my passport which they accepted. That happened 5 days after submission.

They said it would take them 10 extra days to process it but I've been waiting for 3 weeks now and nothing yet. Could anything be wrong? Why could they be taking so long when in reality they only said it takes 5-10 working days. I'm so so nervous 😓 😟.

I did everything they asked for as a requirement, and I've been waiting but no answer yet.

I applied through an agent, and I'm Nigerian. I don't know why they haven't given me a response yet.

I read that Thailand is now requiring financial proof when applying for tourist visas. This is for visas applied for in one's home country, but does it also include visa free entry into Thailand?

Hi all, I'm planning to do 2 trips to Thailand later this year being November to December for 6 weeks and then return in early January till early April. I have asked the UK Thailand embassy and they have told me to get a METV - Multi Entry Tourist Visa and the guidance note states the following shuttle h I don't understand. Can any body help me as I'm unsure when to complete the application form and what dates I should put on it..

The validity of the METV is 6 months from the issue which means you must enter before the ‘Enter Before’ date shown. The entry before the date is important because the last possible entrance for 60 days has to be used when entering the day before the end before the date. Two of the three 60 day exit stamps could possibly be extended for 30 days at a Thai immigration office although your last entry must be no later than the ‘Enter Before’ date.

I want to apply for the DTV visa for Thailand (l saving this September) I have all the qualifications and except the REASON. I am not a digital remote worker.

I have enrolled in a 2 week yoga intensive. I have contacted a few places where I am going but they either only want cash on arrival so no ability to present a receipt of payment for enrollment before applying for the visa from Canada.

One cooking school said “someone applied from here for their visa through our school” and this school offers one day - all day courses but….one day?!

The language schools I contacted want me to enroll of 2 months for 1000$.
