Any expert views please…. I’ll be flying out of Thailand right on 90 days before coming back for good (Take That) in January. Should I still submit a 90 day report this trip, I’ve moved around several locations - it’ll be a first time experience submitting if I do

Advice needed about money from UK to Thailand. My daughter has recently moved to Thailand and is getting her Ed visa sorted. I'll be visiting her and sending her money, we both have wise cards (as yet unused). It suggests you can 'spend like a local' but I can't see how that works when she says they don't have contactless anywhere, also she doesn't know how to transfer her rent using Wise. She's always paid in cash and has to withdraw cash weekly. Is this how it is locally??

She's been taking money out of her uk bank at ATMs and being charged fees both ends. She tried to get cash using her passport in a bank to avoid atm fees but they refused.

I guess what I'm asking is what's the best way to use the wise card, she has a physical one and digital one, with different numbers (not sure why she has two?). It may be that I'm a dinosaur, but advice would be much appreciated.

Marriage visa requirements include maintaining 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account for two years, and the funds must remain lodged in the bank throughout the duration of the visa extensions.

After the second year is completed, can it be withdrawn?

Hi folks, For the last few years I have been on a 4 month contract at a Bangkok University. I get a 3 month Non-B visa in Australia, and I extend that visa to 4 months once in Bangkok.. This year I will be on a 12 month contract. During those 12 months I will return to Australia for 3 months. The advice I seek is, should I get a multiple entry 12 month Non-B visa or should I get a 3 month Non-B and extend? I have read that you can extend the 3 month visa to a multiple entry 12 month one, once in Thailand. Many thanks

I have looked at the Sydney Thai Consulate webpage but could not find sufficient information.

Has anyone applied for the DTV Visa as a family? We are hoping to apply as a family of 5 in November and are wondering about the process. Can we all apply online at the same time? My husband would apply with myself and our three kids as dependents. Or does my husband have to apply first and get approved and then we can apply as dependents? Is proof of funds needed per person or just one total for the whole family?

Hi everyone, is it possible to apply for the DTV visa in the Philippines? Does the Thai embassy there process this visa?
