My Non O was issued today after I emailed the Embassy 2 days ago.

You can apply for a 1 year extension if you fly in visa exempt. You get put under consideration first.

I'm not sure about having to stay in the UK until my visa is approved is correct. If I fly in on visa exempt I may lose the right to use my non O when it is approved. But I can certainly still fly to Thailand without it.

Yes I have had a Bangkok bank a/c for 30 years. And an FCD a/c with them also.

sorry Jim. I appreciate you trying to help. But I am failing to understand most of your answers.

You are answering questions that haven't been asked. TDAC, No need to fly out, Problem with my application, trying to budge the system etc.

There is only 1 topic here. I have changed my flight date. I'm trying to get my visa approved a little quicker.

In no way have I ever said I am trying to budge/manipulate the system. I have only asked if what I may do if my visa does not get approved on time is allowed. If someone says it is not then I won't do it.

actually Jim. If my visa is approved before I fly,I can get 6 months from my 90 day non O. 90 days + 30 days extension + 60 days say with Thai family extension.
