You have to meet the requirements stated on the evisa website which are NOT the same as the requirements for most passports and IDs. I ended up going to a professional photographer since the size of the one I had taken in a photobooth didn't match what they asked.

Every embassy has its own requirements (i.e. in Belgium you need 15k euros, so a bit more than 500k bahts), check on your embassy's website.
