Hi All,

Apologies if this has been asked a million times but..

I have a trip booked for Vietnam early November, where I plan to apply for DTV.

Two questions: although I have a letter stating I do some freelance marketing work in the UK, a lot of my income comes from English teaching online via Preply. Preply don’t give out contracts so I can only show an income from there.. Will both options suffice?

Second Question: is the application for the DTV from the same website in all cases and it just depends on your location when applying?

Oh, and is a week long enough for this process does anyone know.

TIA 😉😊

Hi, I need some information, maybe someone can give an answer.

Im Indonesian, currently working here in Bangkok with BOI.

Is it possible to apply dependent visa here? For my wife and kids.

Because I have different information from Chamcuri Immigration and Chaengwatthana Immigration.

Thanks!

Going to be transiting in Bangkok overnight this weekend. Starting out by Robinson's Lat Krabang. Want to get an esim that night to use as we prepare to move to Thailand. Don't want the tourist kind, rather a permanent esim prepay I can put money on and renew every year or six months. Anyone do this recently. Can I just go to a 7-11 with passport and buy an esim intended for residents rather than short term tourist?

Hello,

How much does it cost to apply for an extension of a non-immigrant O visa? Is it 1,900 baht like tourist visa?

Hey everyone!

My friend and I are heading to Bangkok now we're in Phuket, and we’re so excited! We’ve already seen most of the typical tourist spots (or at least we think we have ), so this time, we’re hoping to explore a more local side of the city. We’d love your recommendations on anything that makes Bangkok special beyond the usual attractions.

We’re especially looking for:

* Cozy coffee shops and hidden gem cafés

* Unique experiences or activities that are a bit off the beaten path

* Hidden treasures in the city that we might not find in the guidebooks

* Great restaurants

* Live music venues or places with a cool vibe for concerts

* Spots where we can meet cool people!

* Board game cafés or places where we can have some fun and play games

And! if anyone would like to join us for a little adventure or just grab a coffee, you’re more than welcome! We’d love to meet some new friends in Bangkok. Actually, we have invited some of our friends on mixerdates to join us too but if you'd love to join let's meet ;)

Thank you

I'm thrilled to share that I just received my DTV from the Thai Embassy in Jakarta! 🎉

Thank you to everyone in this group for sharing your experience. It really helped me!

It was a smooth and quick process – I applied on Monday morning and received my visa this Thursday afternoon. 🙌

For those curious about what documents I submitted, here's what I presented:

1. Bank Statement showing the required financial amount.

2. A brochure with a proposal that I typically send to my clients.

3. My CV showcasing my professional experience.

4. A document explaining that I am a freelancer and how I manage my work.

5. A statement clarifying that I’m the sole employer of my company, ensuring I won’t compete with local Thai businesses.

6. Documents that demonstrate my business registration in my country.

7. The completed visa application form.

Everything was approved without any issues! 🙏
