TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, UK passport holders can enter Thailand without a visa and receive a 60-day stamp upon entry, even if arriving on a package holiday. If they wish to stay longer, they can apply for a 30-day extension at a local immigration office for a fee of 1,900 baht. Additionally, traveling to neighboring countries and re-entering Thailand may allow for another 60-day stay.

Mate, it's so easy to DIY a holiday in Thailand. But yes with a UK passport, just rock up to be stamped in for 60 days with no charge. And if you decide to stay longer than that, just go to an Immigration Office and pay 1,900 baht (cash) for a 30 day extension. Or, if you fancy a short (or long) trip to Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia or anywhere else (check prices they're CHEAP!) then come back to Thailand for another 60 days free

Yes but why do a 'package' holiday? book your own flight and Hotel and eat out and enjoy the Thai food and culture.

yes if you are from a Visa Exempt country

A UK passport holder can enter Thailand with no visa for a stay of up to 60 days. You can even apply for a one off extension for a further 30 days at a local immigration office for 1,900 baht.
