Hi All,

Apologies if this has been asked a million times but..

I have a trip booked for Vietnam early November, where I plan to apply for DTV.

Two questions: although I have a letter stating I do some freelance marketing work in the UK, a lot of my income comes from English teaching online via Preply. Preply don’t give out contracts so I can only show an income from there.. Will both options suffice?

Second Question: is the application for the DTV from the same website in all cases and it just depends on your location when applying?

Oh, and is a week long enough for this process does anyone know.

TIA πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarity on the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) application process, specifically regarding income verification from freelance work and online teaching. They question whether their letter confirming freelance marketing work and their income from Preply would be adequate for the application. Additionally, they inquire if the application process is uniform across different locations and whether a week is sufficient for the application.

Each consulate has their own form

The consulate in HCMC and a few others are going to be using the evisa system going forward. I believe they were supposed to start on Oct 8, so I'm not sure if they are even allowing in person appointments still?

Seems like it's mostly a "show me the money" situation with some exceptions of course 😌
