What location is everyone setting up there LLC and why

Hi there. Today I went to apply for a Thai Driving Licence with my partner in a town near our village in Petchabun. I have been using an Irish licence for a few weeks but wanted to get legal.

I was told I would have to go to the Irish embassy in Bangkok and get it translated into Thai and also get a letter saying it is a real licence.

I have never heard of anyone else wanting a Thai Licence from a Home Licence needing it all translated.

What are your experiences please?

Do I need an International Driving Permit (IDP) to rent a car and drive in Thailand if I have a Malaysian driving license?

Done my first yearly extension today 1/2 hour max at Korat immigration no more trips to immigration for a year….might have a celebration drink tonight

If a passport is renewed while overseas is the reentry permit and non b still valid in the old passport and can it then be transferred to the new passport on return from a trip overseas?

Hoping for some help, we are Canadian and would like to enter Thailand on visa exempt for 30 days in April, can we come back in June for another 30 days visa exempt and get a extension for 30 days?

How many times a year can a person enter Thailand for 30 days on visa exempt?

I am a US Passport holder - This is my visa path for me and my family. I’m looking to confirm if I understand this correctly as far as extensions, etc.

-Enter from US on 30 Day Exempt + 30 Day Extension

-Then apply for 60-Day Tourist Visa then extend for 30 Days

- Border Run to Vietnam for a week- come back on another 60 day tourist visa + extend for 30 days

-Then apply for 1yr student visa.

-After 1yr Student visa, leave to KL for 1 week then enter on US visa 30 day exempt and start the process back all over again if we decide to stay….

Good Afternoon; I normally do my 90 day report on-line with no problems, however for the first time I left Thailand and re-entered on 12th Dec 2023, so have tried now 3 times to file now with rejected message: 'Incorrect entry date upon entry into the kingdom/ Incorrect visa expiration date.'

I've read someone say that on re-entering you have to file the first report in person again? Is this correct? Thankyou for any info.🙏
