Good evening,

I am currently studying as an exchange student at a university in Thailand and am on a 90 day non-ED visa. Since my visa expires on December 4 and I am studying until December 15, I would actually have to extend my visa for 1900 baht. Could I just leave before December 4th and come back after December 4th with a visa exemption or will I have problems if i do that? I also have to leave the country again for 8 days over Christmas and then come back to Thailand until mid-January and then go home completely. So i would Need 2 more Visa exemptions. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Are there any hotels with a kitchen available for guest use? One person in our group has dietary restrictions and doesn’t eat out, and we also have a young child who doesn’t eat outside food often. I haven’t been able to find such accommodations through online booking channels, and Airbnb hasn’t been very helpful in this case.

I will be staying 3 days in Bangkok and 3 days in Pattaya.

When applying for evisa (London) and they ask for extra documents, have people found they ask for all extra documents at once or do you send one required document and then they say there’s more to send? I just want to get an idea of how quickly the process should take once I send them what they asked for. Thanks in advance.

Did my 90-Day Report today and asked for the requirements for extending the DTV. Got told that they want to see all documents/proof again that i used for my visa application. In english or thai language. So i would require a translation. The most important thing is the financial proof they said, which obviously has to be a current bank overview / statement / whatever… Talked a little with 3 officers and they recommended just doing a border run and get a fresh 180 day. This was done in Krabi where immigration is usualy very easy. (DTV was applied and granted via eVisa / germany. workcation category.)

I’ll do my first 1 year O A extension in the next couple weeks.

As soon as that is done I will start on the LTR.

To be safe I will wait until my home country 2024 tax return is done since that combined with other documents should clearly demonstrate the annual income. I also need to get my name on the house, which should take a couple months.

I’d rather avoid an agent and going thru the requirements on the BOI site everything seems fairly straightforward.

Anything I’m missing?

the embassy requested additional documents for a visa. but I am not in the country now and cannot receive them. How long is the deadline for sending the documents, and what will happen if this is not done?

Need help getting facts on CURRENT walk-in locations near Thailand.

I’ll leave Thailand and apply for the DTV within 3 weeks. I prefer to go to a walk-in location.

Currently, I’m considering:

1. Taipei – but read they’re going e-visa ~Nov 19? I haven’t been able to corroborate this. Does anyone know if/when Taipei goes e-visa and the last day for walk-ins?

2. Manila - I read they'll accept walk-ins until Jan 2025 - true?

3. Yangon – I read they still accept walk-ins until ???

4. Any other locations I should consider?

Any confirmation or correction of what I’ve listed would be fantastic, and any other relevant advice/input would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi all, UK passport holder previously working in Phuket. I’ve decided to retire so cancelled my business visa. Once cancelled, I left the country and have just re-entered Thailand after 4 days from Laos by air. I was stamped in for 60 days.

Can you help me with the following please…

1. If I extend a further 30 days, do I have enough time in that extention period to apply for a Non-O?

2. If I need more than the 30 days extention period to apply, at what point in my 60 days should I start the process?

3. Every month (various dates in each month) for over 12 months, I’ve been sending 65k funds via Wise to my Thai bank. Can I use this method on my first application?

4. If I can’t use the monthly 65k method on my first application, at what point does the 800k need to be in my Thai bank account?

Thanks in advance.
