What are the current walk-in locations for Thai visas and their deadlines?

Need help getting facts on CURRENT walk-in locations near Thailand.

I’ll leave Thailand and apply for the DTV within 3 weeks. I prefer to go to a walk-in location.

Currently, I’m considering:

1. Taipei – but read they’re going e-visa ~Nov 19? I haven’t been able to corroborate this. Does anyone know if/when Taipei goes e-visa and the last day for walk-ins?

2. Manila - I read they'll accept walk-ins until Jan 2025 - true?

3. Yangon – I read they still accept walk-ins until ???

4. Any other locations I should consider?

Any confirmation or correction of what I’ve listed would be fantastic, and any other relevant advice/input would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on current walk-in locations for Thai visa applications, particularly for the DTV visa, and their respective deadlines. They have inquiries about Taipei's transition to e-visa, walk-in acceptance in Manila, and Yangon, as well as any additional locations. Comments confirm that Manila plans to switch to e-visa by January 2025, with Jakarta accepting walk-ins until November 21, 2024.

Why do you want walk-in? The e-visa system is very easy.

Aha OK. Thanks for sharing. Laos told me they don't have a specific date set yet, but will happen "soon".

Laos (appointment needed). Probably will only switch to e-visa around January 2025 as well (tentatively, as no specific date has yet been set).

Yangon (appointment needed) - won't switch to e-visa until probably January 2025 or later.

Jakarta - will probably accept walk-ins until at least late November.
