TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses seeking assistance for obtaining a K1 visa in Thailand, providing varying levels of advice and experiences. Users point to the importance of details like nationality and location, suggest companies like Legal Access Thailand, and share personal accounts of navigating the visa process without relying heavily on third-party services. The conversation highlights that many steps must be conducted personally, especially in dealing with the US Embassy, which may require mailing forms domestically from the US.

The company that helps you for an enormous amount of money can only be in the shadows. You do all the Bangkok US embassy visits on your own. You do all the interviews on your own. If you try to breathe through someone else’s nose, you are setting yourself up for failure.

You have to do it on your own.

The US embassy Bangkok will tell you that you have to return to the US to mail the first form from the US because they will only accept it if it is mailed domestically. That is true. So, I filled out the form and mailed it to my Mother (in the US) and told her to put it in an envelope and mail it. I did not return to the US to mail it. I waited in Thailand. My wife got her K1 in 120 days from start to finish.

if you need more information, I recommend you PM me. My Thai wife can help. She did all of the work to get the K1. I stood by on the sidelines speechless and in awe.
