Hey, I have to be back on 07/12 to Chiang Mai but I have applied in Hanoi for the DTV. I wanted to ask you, if I get approved or get asked for more documents when I am in Thailand, will it be a problem for me? Will I get denied because of coming back to Thailand before getting approved?

Hello! How does a Non-Immigrant O visa work? I’m a Thai National (Dual Citizenship with US) who is married to a US Citizen. We are planning on moving to Thailand next February.

He’s applying for the visa while we are still here since the Thai Visa website says to apply at least 15 days before departure date.

My question is what are the steps we need to take when we arrive?

I’m just learning how Thai systems work since I grew up in the states.

Hello. Has anyone applied from Rome, Italy? I will apply via e-visa on Friday, but I still have questions. In the DTV documents section of the site, they ask for proof of entry-exit flight reservation and proof of accommodation. When I arrive in Thailand for accommodation, I want to rent a house and I only booked a hotel for 2 days. Should I make a reservation for the number of days I will stay and show the exit flight ticket?

I want to move to Thailand with my family next year (2 adults 1 kid). We've been nomads for 4 years but want to settle in Asia. I contacted an agency and was told we do not qualify for any visas. Our monthly income after taxes is over 10k USD with my remote job and business. Is what they said true? I thought we would easily qualify for DTV.

Hi, wondering what others with a double surname did..

Im going to Thailand for over 60 days in January 2025 and I need to apply for a tourist e-visa. When creating my account I put my surname, which is Sobanska-Peksa, but it doesn't let me write it like this.

Should I just write Sobanska when creating the account or write SobanskaPeksa without the - symbol?

If my visa says stay permitted up to 17 JAN 2025, does that mean I have to leave by 16th, or can I still have my flight on 17th night time?

Went into Roi Et Immigration yesterday for my first 1year extension on O visa based on marriage. Was thinking it might a bit difficult reading some reports but very very easy and fast about 1hr.45 . My passport with photocopies of all pages with stamps in and front page 2 passport size photos of me wife's ID and house book photos off us outside and 2 inside house and map from immigration to home from goggle TM7 that i printed at home and filled out I have a photocopier did it all at home .Then up datetd marriage certificate in and out 8mins then3 months bank statements and letter update bank book 20mins then to immigration got under consideration stamp go back 28 January but not difficult at all and very helpful.
