Went into Roi Et Immigration yesterday for my first 1year extension on O visa based on marriage.  Was thinking it might a bit difficult reading some  reports but very very  easy and  fast about 1hr.45 .        My passport with photocopies of all pages with stamps in and front page  2 passport size photos of me wife's ID and  house book photos off us outside and 2 inside house and map from immigration to home from goggle TM7 that i printed at home and filled out I have a photocopier did it all at home .Then up datetd marriage certificate in and out 8mins then3 months bank statements and letter update bank book 20mins then to immigration got under consideration stamp go back 28 January but not difficult at all and very helpful.

I went there once, when visiting a relative in Roi Et, I went to pick up a list of requirements for a visa he wanted to do, I was the only person there, the immigration officers looked bored, they seemed like they wanted to help because it was so quiet, completely different than trying to do something in a tourist area. 😂

Maha Sarakham Immigration is also very easy to deal with. Usually not very many people and they are very helpful.

Must admit Roi Et immigration is very good. Did my reporting as just entered the country, in and out within 10 minutes. Last year did an extention no issues.

Most offices will not accept a Google map but insist on the wife hand drawing one. Last year I supplied 4 photos of us, 2 inside and 2 outside. This year they want 8. You only need 2 months bank statements. The 400k is supposed to stay in the bank during 'under consideration' but mine never is as it goes back on deposit earning some interest until the next time.
