I'm a remote worker who primarily uses the Zoom app for call-related work. I'm considering relocating to Bangkok, and I'm wondering if this is even possible. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge or experience with this possibility?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation primarily revolves around the feasibility of using Zoom for remote work while living in Bangkok, Thailand. Responses indicate that internet connectivity in Thailand is generally good, and there are no restrictions on using Zoom. However, a couple of comments humorously suggest challenges in specific environments, such as gogo bars. Overall, the consensus is that working remotely in Bangkok is very much possible.

You'll need to be on a high floor and use a satellite

Long distance communication from Bangkok is by semaphore and carrier pigeon only 😟

Internet is great. However I'm living in a small village in the northeast and reliability is not 100% especially during thunderstorms. So I now have internet from 2 providers true and ais, which works great.

The speed is amazing, even better than I had in condos in Bkk
