It's good to hear non o's are under review - i just hope they don't go the wrong way and tighten the noose even further. what have you heard about this?

what pisses me off slightly is all these people gaming the system to get this visa,while I’m married to a thai 15 years now, have two thai/farang kids with her, and work offshore - all I do is bring all my money into the country and spend it - and still not only can’t I get anything better than either visa exempts or non o visas (which can be problematic to upkeep due to work), but now the thai govt plans to tax me, with no apparent benefit to me for the taxes they get from me.

(to be clear it’s the govt/immigration i’m ranting about not people gaming the system.)

is have a 30 day exemption on arrival stamp. I extended the same type at laksi last december.

yeah, i think the point is she does not have one for the property they rent in korat, and her parents live far away.

i met two guys there when i went a couple of months ago who had been doing back-to-back non-o marriage visas for many years at Savannakhet.

I wish I’d used him. It was pissing rain and humid when I was there and i kept dripping water from my hair or sweat on my form and had to get another🙄.

(Agree tho, the form is simple.)
