Hi guys since i read savannakhet is rejecting applications more often these days ... do you think that it will be a problem to apply for a non o based on marriage back to back or should I try another country? Applying for a 1 year extension is out of question for me.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the process of applying for a back-to-back Non-O visa based on marriage at Savannakhet, amidst concerns about possible rejections. Most commenters affirm that there are currently no issues with obtaining one-year, multi-entry Non-O visas based on marriage from Savannakhet, although there seems to be some confusion about back-to-back applications being stopped. It's noted that applying in a different country, like Vietnam, is a viable alternative, especially if one is facing difficulties or uncertainty.

I got a non-O marriage back-to-back visa at HCMC, Vietnam two weeks ago. This is after three in a row at Savannakhet. The paperwork is the same. Cost is 200 USD instead of 5,000 THB. The only additional thing needed is a hand-written or typed note from the Thai spouse making a request on behalf of the foreign spouse. Flights are pretty cheap on Viet Jet and Air Asia. Much more interesting city to hang out a few days.
so im currently on non o based on marriage 12 months me from savannakhet and soon it will expire. so if i go back to apply for a new one in savannakhet shouldnt be a problem?
