Please help with suggestions on what I can do to get my TM30 from my hotel. I stayed 1 night at my hotel and ask them to prepare the TM30 form for me.In the morning the lady was not there to prepare the form so I told her I would come back. I called the hotel today and now the manager is saying she can't give me TM30 form because I only stay 1 night...what are my options I need the TM30 to renew tourist visa in Pattaya thankyou

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your hotel refuses to provide the TM30 form after a one-night stay, your options include: 1. Check into another hotel where you can ensure they register you properly for the TM30 upon check-in. 2. Mention to your current hotel that failure to provide the TM30 could result in reporting them to immigration, as it is a requirement for all guests regardless of the length of stay. 3. If you must extend your visa, having a TM30 is beneficial, so contacting an agency to assist with the TM30 forms may also be a solution. 4. If the first hotel does not comply, you can also explain to immigration that you had requested the TM30 and were denied, which might encourage action on their part.

from what I understand TM30s are completed automatically by the hotel and sent to immigration (it’s the law) whenever you stay at a hotel they have to record and report it. I’m not sure what your getting at or think you need….

Use an agency and they will take care of the TM 30. You pay for the service but it's quite a convenience..

Tell immigration you asked for TM30 they refused maybe get them to put in waiting why they can not comply with the rules of immigration....

Is said it's the owners responsibility. The owner can be fined this is why it is put on the owner. It's both parties responsibility.

"Property owners who fail to file a report are subject to a fine of THB 2,000 while hotel operators are subject to a fine of between THB 2,000 to THB 10,000. It is therefore advisable for those who are unfamiliar with TM 30 reporting to consult professionals who will be able to assist them in these matters."

He has to do it within 24 hours from the time of arrival of the foreign national. So if you don't stay 24 hours (which you don't) he doesn't have tot do it.

Check-in to a new hotel

Wherever you are staying has an owner, they can do it for you.

I skip the the extension and simply do a border run, Pattaya immigration are a bunch of crooks.

Way back when, I extended my tourist visa in Bangkok. Just showing them my hotel keycard was good enough.

So where have you been staying during your time in pattaya? Obviously do not want immigration to know if a one day stay at a hotel is so important for your tm30.

I don’t think ‘you’ need to worry about this. Only proof of where you are staying. Copied this …. You do not need to submit a TM30 for yourself. Instead, this must be completed within 24 hours of your arrival by the owners of the lodging where you are staying. A fine of 800THB, increasing to 1600THB/person for the property owner, can be imposed for failure to accomplish this.

many offices require you to have proof of TM30 to apply for an extension so it becomes your problem

Just get it from the next place you stay after leaving the first hotel. ( and / or report the first hotel to immigration, that they may not report all visitors staying at that hotel. )

As for this place, tell them you're doing to report them at the immigration, every homeowner REQUIRED to register their foreign guests, even if for one night, they have a website to do it online, takes 10 minutes!! They either lazy or don't pay taxes or both.

they probably did but that was for the previous night and he's no longer checked in there. Pretty normal, and wherever he's staying now should have registered him as staying there

As the colleague wrote, check into another hotel. If you want to extend the visa, you should already have lived somewhere. There was no TM30 possible?

Book another place and make sure they register you right away upon the check in, right in front of you, you can't rely on Thai people's promises lol
