You have to go at the Embassy, so I am pretty sure that the Visa will be stamped into the passport. And my guess is that you will have to pay in-person as well, as it works in other Embassies and Consulates for DTV.
But I could be wrong.
Maybe the Embassy will provide these infos after your admission is submitted.
I emailed the Embassy, they told me to apply under OTHERS. I didn't submit my application yet, i need some more infos. Would be nice to have your update when you have. Cheers
If yes, your 90 days report on may 3rd is cancelled and a new 90 days period has started on your last arrival day. That's why the online system refused your application. Happened to me recently.
Prices are waaaaaay cheaper. You can still find a decent house in Samui for 10K฿. In Paris, you got an underground parking spot for that price if you are lucky 🤣.
Even if you live in Tokyo or New-York or in a small village in Issan, at the end, you stay near your accommodation / neighbourhood most of the time.
For example, Parisians don't go visit the Eiffel Tower everyday.
The only thing that embarrass me with living in Samui is not the size of the island itself, but the options to get out of the island. Flights are expensive (especially if you don't have a resident card), and in peak season, planes are fully booked. Not cool if you have an emergency.
