My 90 days report expired on 3 May, and the grace period is expired today, do you think I'll need to pay fine if I go on Monday?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they will incur a fine for filing their 90-day report in Thailand late, as their reporting period expired on May 3, and they plan to file on the upcoming Monday. Responses indicate that a 2,000 baht fine is applicable for late filings, and they have essentially missed the deadline by entering a zone of being over the due date. The replies also emphasize the importance of understanding the reporting window for 90-day reports, which allows submissions from two weeks before until one week after the due date.

Did you left and re-enter the country recently ?

If yes, your 90 days report on may 3rd is cancelled and a new 90 days period has started on your last arrival day. That's why the online system refused your application. Happened to me recently.

To late, it will cost 2000฿

I think they never look at the 90day report when leaving the country. But in case they did and you are in the 7 days (past due date) zone, all is still good?

When I left last time I was 2 days over the due date and was thinking if I should have been getting the new stamp, but it was in the middle of

Songkran and didn’t want my passport

to get wet…

The grace period is for making a report, not leaving the country. Possibly an eagle eyed immigration officer at your local office may note that you missed a report and fine you.
Rune *******
Lloyd Turner thanks. Next time I will make the 90 days in any case. Not a big hassle..

@Rune ******
he is talking about making a report, not leaving.

90 days and Visas are 2 entirely different aspects

Probably yes

Okay people I deleted the unrelated comments.

Let's all get on the same page

You have a THREE WEEK WINDOW to file a 90 day report in person at the immigration office (that's 2 weeks before the due date down until a 1 week after the due date)

There is no slack cut for weekends OR holidays, it's just a 3 week window period.

IF you can't get it done during that time frame when you DO go report you will get a 2000baht fine. <- You are NOT ON OVERSTAY and it has nothing to do with the visa/extension you're here on,

It's nothing more than a failure to file a 90 day report on time fine. It's 2000baht it starts on the 8th day after your report was due. The fine does not increase so whether you're 8 days or 8 months late it's the same fine when you go file

@Tod ********
what about the big red stamp in your passport, is that correct?
Ellie *******
@Jeff ********
, no he doesn't get such a red stamp on his passport. The red stamp is for overstaying. Delayed 90 days report wouldn't cause you to overstay

What big red stamp? 🤣

@Jim *******
just seen a couple comments from guys saying they got red stamps in their passports for being late on the 90 day. Apparently Tod has deleted those comments 😊

@Jeff ********
90 day report late stamp doesn't affect you in the least for anything, not entering the country not getting a visa not getting an extension, a re-entry permit nothing. It's just a notice you paid the fine for late 90 day report

I only have a small and old image of one, but it's the same stamp nowadays I believe

@Tod ********
why can't TS Try to do it online? what dates apply to it?
Tod *********
@Roland *********
you can apply online from 2 weeks before the due date down until 1 week before the due date (that's the official posting)

but

there are reports that people can do it down until the due date online

unfortunately the O/P's due date was the 3rd of May, so the online reporting can't be used at all

@Tod ********
yep, whenever I've been late I've just left it until next year's extension. They don't like it but, once you're late why bother fixing it quickly only to risk being late again and paying another fine.
Rob **********
You will get a 2,000 baht fine. You can do your 90 day report 15 days before the due date and up to 7 days after the due date, so you have had basically 3 weeks to do it.
Tod *********
Are you asking this question rhetorically?

You could have filed a 90 day report in person from 2 weeks before the due date (April 19th) down until 1 week after the due date (May 10th)

You will get a 2000baht fine when you go to file the report Monday 🙂
Lloyd ********
Yes, you should get fined 2000 baht on Monday.
