I am curious about the double insurance requirement.. It looks like OA visas with ~ a year left need to buy ~ a years travel insurance to enter (eg. After a short overseas holiday) with the Thai Pass. Even though they are already required to have full time, local health insurance for their visa.
I had a similar issue (but different countries and passports). I was warned that my baby son might not be able to board a plane out of the country as he had not entered it .. the risk was that he could be considered as βstolenβ ..
I am at the immigration office (south Thailand) now, and after checking they told me that the compulsory insurance cover increase is yet to be completed .. π€¨
