Thanks for your concern Jussi, I am living with my wife, we do have a house together and a small baby.

So I will probably be home almost everyday. I slightly mind to go abroad for the visa as I am far quite a long time, if i can save 2-3 days home with my family, I will take this opportunity but if it doesn’t work, I will go for the visa as you advised I think. As per my work I will have probably 35 days off, so I will do the visa as soon as I land and will stick to home almost everyday. Don’t they call when they visit ? What if we are in BigC or something similar ? Wife is working weekday so she will probably not be there when they visit.

It will not become a single entry visa.

Hi Vladimir, I am doing a 1.5 month abroad and and 1.5 in Thailand. I was actually thinking while extending my visa, I will get a multi entry.

Isn’t it the same kind of visa with an extension ?

Thanks Robert, do you have an idea on how long does it takes ? Is the extension done within the same day ? I will have to go work abroad start of August.

Also, I believe you will tell me "yes" :) but is the wife mandatory ? (She is working and will probably not be happy to take a day off for paper)
