Two questions.

1. Why on earth would you throw away your visa by leaving Thailand without a reentry stamp?

2. Why would you ever decline to purchase a multi reentry stamp every single time you renew your annual visa extension?

one good thing about facebook is the are beginning to put AI prompts at the bottom of posts offering answers to questions.

Whether they will offer AI answers to redundant questions before they are posted I do not know. I suspect not, because it might reduce engagement.

The annual extension gets the reason description.

an interest bearing fixed deposit account is “an instant access account”, and it’s perfectly acceptable to ChiangMai immigration office.

have you ever seen Jeff Bezos, David Beckham or Mark Zuckerberg standing in line with you at immigration?

First, I never said I used an agent, or that the process caused me financial stress. Although, I did, and it didn’t.

Using an agent is often not about the cost, it’s about the value. There is a difference.

Let me try to explain it to you…

The Farmer and the Fisherman

A rice farmer oversaw ten workers and used millions of baht worth of machines to harvest thousands of bags of rice. One day, he went to the river and offered a fisherman a bag of rice in exchange for a basket of fish.

The fisherman laughed. “Why trade rice for fish? Anyone can sit on the riverbank with a pole and catch them for free. You must be foolish to pay for something so simple.”

The farmer smiled. “It may be easy, but while I sit for hours by the river, my fields would go untended, my workers idle, and my harvest wasted. My time grows rice. Your time grows fish. We trade not because one of us is stupid, but because both of us are wise.”

Unlike money, which can be earned, saved, or replaced, time can never be recovered. For many people—time is more valuable than money.

some people have lots of time.

Some very successful people are willing to pay to avoid wasting hours at immigration.

Most unsuccessful people won’t comprehend the money value of time.
