I respectfully disagree. I’ve seen the Thai law, but I’m too lazy to relocate it.

ANY time you change your place if residence, even for one night, it is YOUR responsibility to notify immigration WITHIN 24 hours. If there is no local immigration office you have to notify via the local police station.

The landlord or hotel is obligated to do this for you, but that doesn’t relieve you of your responsibility under Thai law.

Why don’t you arrive visa exempt or tourist visa and apply in country ?

This is a great example of why you don’t rely on legal advice from people on the internet.

Using the correct Thai address (in English) and including a Thai phone number in case of issues, Amazon orders arrive in Thailand in about 5-7 days with little difficulty.

If an item is not available for international shipping I use usa2me dot com to receive on my behalf, consolidate items, remove all unnecessary weight and ship FedEx to me in Thailand (about 5-7 days).

Of course items ordered on Amazon in America arrive to my American address in 3 hours up to 3 days.

For those that brag they come with a lot of money, be aware it’s a crime to cross borders with more than the equivalent of $10,000 USD in undeclared funds in many countries.
