BUT finally they stopped asking for us to fill out a TM 30 lol when returning from Chiang Mai . They finally caught up with the July 1st 2020 decision . I didnt mind as we only live 3 minutes to Immigration here in Pai

this year on the day I went to do my extension I added 100 baht but it didn’t show up on my statement that day . I have had over 1million . I had to wait for my statement to match my bank book lol I don’t even think they wanted to see my bank book but I’ll know for next year NOT to make a transaction day of But this is in Maehongson so we know they can all be different

Thanks ! My partner went to Immigration this afternoon . I think Im just going to keep this bank account active with the 800,000 and go to Chiang Mai next January to get the statements which they will do in an hour . Then drive back to Pai ( 3 hours ) and submit to immigrations . If theres any problem with this then next year I will change banks . I'd still need a one month statement from yellow bank if I transfer to Bangkok Bank anyway and then a statement for the rest of the year from Bangkok Bank .

which means best to open with new bank otherwise a 2 hour drive without hiccups would be the only plan and I’ve had small hiccups both times lol Thank you !
