Hi Tod,

I'm not sure if this was already asked but has anyone here done their 90-day reporting of address via registered mail yet? I called 1178 several times to ask for the correct address and I got different answers. On the website, it's also a different address too. Now, I got 3 different addresses.

[members only]

From website:

90 DAYS REGISTRATION,

IMMIGRATION DIVISION 1

Chalermprakiat Government Complex

120 MOO 3, CHAENGWATTANA ROAD,SOI 7,

LAKSI, BANGKOK. 10210

From 1178:

1st:

80 Anniversary Government Center,

5 December 2007

Rattaprasasan Phakdi Building, 2nd Floor,

Chaengwattana Rd.,

Thung Song Hong Sub-District,

Laksi District,

Bangkok 10210

2nd:

Building B, Soon Ratchakarn, Chaengwattana.

Which one is correct?

Also, the call center rep mentioned that since there's Covid-19 they accept applications the latest is 7 days before the expiration date for registered mail. Since mine expires on the 15th of March, if I send it today, it should be alright then? Your thoughts please.

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the correct address for 90-day address reporting in Bangkok as they have received conflicting information from multiple sources. They have found different addresses from the Immigration website and the call center. Additionally, they want to confirm if they can send their 90-day report via registered mail up to 7 days before their expiration date, given COVID-19 considerations. Community responses suggest that the correct address for mail submissions is the one listed on the Immigration website and emphasize the importance of mailing it at least 14 days before the due date to avoid penalties.

To do a 90 day report by mail in Bangkok you need to postmark the envelope 14 days before the due date, and include a stamped self addressed envelope to get the receipt mailed back

Include the following in the packet:

Filled out TM47

previous 90 day report receipt

copies of:

data page of your passport

visa/extension

most recent entry stamp

TM6 departure card

TM30 receipt

Send it to THIS address just like it's written;

ATTENTION 90 Day Reporting

Immigration Office Division 1

Chalermprakiat Government Complex

120 Moo 3 Chaengwattana Road Soi 7

Thungsonghong, Laksi Bangkok

Tod Daniels. Do you not also need a copy of TM6? A friend did his 90 last week at MTT and got his bottom smacked because the TM6 was not stapled in his passport!

The call center rep doesn't know what they're talking about,. You need to have it post marked at least 2 weeks before your due date. I had a friend send it a week before it was due and they just put everything back in the self addressed stamped envelope and returned it to him with a note saying it was too late to file by mail. Sad thing is it was overdue by the time he got it back so he had to go pay the 2000baht fine for late filing AND file in person

@Tod ********
so i guess there's really no such thing as "because of Covid-19, 7 days is allowed?" If I may ask, when did your friend did it?

Sadly
@An**
none of the 90 day reporting rules changed because of covid OR because the system is down :/

the time lines for filing a report are like this:

-in person; 15 days before until 7 days after

-online; (if it was up) 15 days before until the due date

-by mail; postmarked 14 days before
