 the house book isn’t done yet and I want to wait until my 2024 taxes are done so I have all the financial stuff in one place

 that does not matter. If the shipment label has the code “DD”, Duty Tax Paid the you owe nothing. Period.

If it was shipped DDP that’s for the shipper to deal with.

If it was cleared as a formal entry, yes but that will be a time consuming and expensive process.

If it was cleared as an informal, not likely. Legally? Yes. In practise ? Nope.

Come to TH on a non O and after arrival start work on the LTR. If possible , avoid agents
