but I always thought that once your visa extension was approved, the first one must be done in person.

Unusually, I got my 90 day report approved when doing it online one month after getting my 12 month extension on my marriage visa.

I was expecting it to be rejected but thought I’d try anyway. Pleasantly surprised.

Do they have a guide to complete the marriage visa at the Korat office?

I’ve done mine in Phuket and followed their guide and only had minor problems each time I’ve renewed.

I’m moving to Ubon soon so I’m hoping that office has a similar guide I can get.

Or….you download the PEA Smart app. You can pay through many options: (True Money, Rabbit etc). It may even have an option to pay via visa, but I’m not sure as my bill is up to date and can’t see the payment options anymore

For me, it’s difficult to travel to my old branch. Currently living in Phuket, but my original branch is in Ubon Ratchathani - quite a distance. Bangkok bank charge 30 baht for each transaction with an ATM debit card outside of the home branch province. But I’ve since been able to use the Cardless ATM withdrawal using the bank app which doesn’t incur a charge.

some banks will not do the bank financial statement for immigration unless it’s at your home branch. This happened to me with Bangkok bank. Also, there is normally an extra charge for using your own bank’s ATM outside of the province you live in with the bank’s debit card.
