yeah not sure about that, probably I think he was locked out of his wise account and had to get it happening quick.

My friend mentioned when he was back in Australia, he just went into the commonwealth and transferred $40k. Only cost him $30. Also had to be reported to gov cause over $10 k. But you have to do that on all transfers over $10 k in Oz anyway.

yeah I am never in Aust long enough for them to process a visa. With postage times to where I live. Started my last application weeks before departure. Didn’t hear back from them till a few days before my flight. Didn’t want to risk my passport in that time.

unfortunately given ANZAC day tomorrow, we have had to pull the pin on the tourist visa idea too.Time until we fly is just too short for us now to take the chance sending our passports via mail.Put our online application in on the . Still haven’t heard back. We are thinking a Phu Quoc return from Bangkok as you don’t require a visa if only going to Phu Quoc. Good luck.
