do you know why they stopped doing the TM6 when arriving by plane into an airport, but decided to continue with the TM6 at land borders?? I'm Just curious, doesn't seem to make any sense.
the agent was assisting me with opening a bank account because I couldn't do it myself with being on a tourist visa, I just decided to do the conversation of my driving licenses at the same time, I just thought it would be a lot easier tbh, rather than trying to navigate through the Thai bureaucracy.
if you get the license through a reputable well established agent it is legal, they are only helping you to convert your home licenses, you can't just buy one like some people suggest, it's all done at the land and transport office, if you don't have a full license from your home country together with an international licence, you will need to do all the tests on-line and practical.
they will only convert your home country licence, together with your international licence, into Thai licenses, if you don't already have a license from your own country, you have to do the full tests, you go to the land and transport office together with an agent or do it yourself, everything is issued there, so yes of course it is legal, and I didn't do any tests apart from a simple reaction and colour blind test.
I can second that recommendation for Mots visa services in Pattaya, if you have a full car license with motorcycle entitlement, together with an international licence, you can just attend the land and transport office with the agent, and do a simple reaction and colour blind test, and obtain both car and motorcycle licenses, there isn't much point with the price difference in only doing one licence.
it is possible to start a new life in Thailand with the money you have got, if you just sit in bars in Pattaya it wouldn't last long, come and give it a go, buy a small business, meet a nice issan village girl and become a farmer, I watch a lot of YouTube, check out Richie and Maybelle (Richie did it with £60k) or the native farang channel. I'm in Thailand now on a tourist visa, I want to do something similar to what I've suggested to you, I'm hoping in the future. Please don't take anything the wrong way I'm not criticizing just trying to help 😉
15k on wine and women, expensive piss up that!! Do you ever think, I could buy a 3 bedroomed detached house in Thailand for that 🍻😂🤦 but anyway to answer your question, open a wise account, transfer the money into there, then when you arrive in Thailand open a Thai bank account, if you can't do it yourself just use an agent, well worth it no more ATM fee's, and you have got it for future trips.
Shrinking the jpeg photo size because it is too big to upload I remember that, I'm sure when I did mine one of the questions wanted two documents and you can only upload one, and i had to do a collage, also being very unsure of some of the questions. I found it a bit stressful and frustrating tbh, because I really wanted the visa 😅
