I think they are probably all the same in essence, but with Pacific Cross they made you feel like a criminal for having cancer, they tried to blame it on smoking which I never had, then drinking and finally a STD, took over 4 months of investigation by them to finally pay for the treatment, after I paid 1.2 million baht from my own pocket first, unbelievable.
Do not use Pacific Cross I have been with them for years and this year I had tongue cancer, needed a operation to remove the tumor then radiation treatment, had nothing but problems with them. Didn’t want to pay, so I had to pay up front then try to claim back. They were saying my cancer was from a STD 🤷♂️🤷♂️ anyway after another 4 months of them taking my sample to many hospitals for testing and me threatening legal action, they reluctantly paid up.
The whole thing was very stressful indeed, they wouldn’t return emails or calls either. There must be better options out there, please have a good look around.
Hard to say, how old are you, any pre existing condition, what deductible is on the policy, how much is it for. Many different variables, you must compare apples with apples so to speak.
check the local immigration office where you will be living, things do differ a little bit from office to office. Good that you already have an account with a Thai bank, one less thing to do.
