I get what your saying, basically if you can avoid the cost then why not save the money, good business sense in my humble opinion.

The only alternatives im aware of is a retirement visa, elite visa or a marriage visa. I guess a marriage visa would be effectively free but marriage could bring its own risk to your finances.

May I ask what industry is your business in? Just out of interest.
