Can anyone recommend a good Thai visa agent? I'm from UK and looking for a 6 month multi entry tourist visa.

I am aware I can do it myself at the UK embassy. TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is seeking recommendations for a Thai visa agent to assist with applying for a 6-month multi-entry tourist visa from the UK. Several commenters clarify that the visa can only be obtained through the Thai embassy in the UK and recommend online application processes. They suggest using online resources and perhaps consulting with travel agents, as visa agents may not provide additional assistance for online filings. The discussion also touches on requirements for proof of accommodation in Thailand.

In Germany and Switzerland and Italy there are travel agencies, visa services applying visas for you.

I assume in the UK it will be the same

On the multi entry visa it also asks for "Proof of accommodation in Thailand"? Does this need to be for the full 6months as we will be travel around to different areas. Was just going to book the first 2 weeks then see how we go?

yeah of course it does, that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking what do the visa rules state the period of accommodation booking needs to be, are you just trying to be obtuse?

I got mine with proof of accommodation for 1 month. I had booked 1 month at a single location.

The METV Visa allows you to enter multiple times for up tp 60 days each time( with 30 day extension possible) in the 6 month period. You can't stay continuously for 6 months but by taking short border bounces at the right time stay for almost 9 months.

Trailfinders used to sort out visas, don't know if they still do.

Thanks everyone, I am currently in the UK. I thought a thai agent might offer a service just to make things easier.

Anyone got the official UK thai embassy official link? Seems a few pop up when you Google it.

Try a travel agent in the UK, it's an evisa online application only.

From the UK it's an online application. I really can't see how a Thai visa agent is going to help you with that

I doubt there’s any Thai visa agent that’s going to be able to help you. You can only get that visa in the UK (your home country). You can’t get that visa in Thailand or any consulate around the region.
