correct the applications have to be lodged online now. But I see people popping in there all the time just in case you have a question. The hours are limited though.

Yeah right now. That will change soon enough and revert back to the old 30 days. Plus dealing with immigration is unnecessary headache and BS.

That YVR consulate is very easily accessible by the way, it’s located in a street unit at the Sheraton Wall Center (I own a condo unit upstairs ). More like a fancy business- office than what you would expect from a consulate.

There are plenty of youtube videos that highlight the process of how to purchase a motor vehicle in Thailand. Luckily in Pattaya you can get the residence certificate without filing for the 90 Day report. Get to know are area first in the next few days before you jump on an apartment.
