TLDR : Answer Summary
The user recently landed in Pattaya on a DTV visa and is seeking advice on finding a condo and purchasing a scooter. Key advice includes obtaining a resident certificate first, which is necessary for registering a motorbike. This can be done through immigration in Jomtien or via an agency. Community members suggest getting to know the area before settling on an apartment and recommend online resources for learning about motor vehicle purchases in Thailand. Additionally, it's noted that getting the residence certificate can be done without a 90-day report in Pattaya.
Hey Sonu! I’m in Pattaya. I’ve bought motorbike a year ago. So I could share the experience it’s pretty easy. You have to get resident certificate for buying motorbike. There two ways:
1. From immigration on Jomtien. You have to prepare documents(TM30 paper from condominium where you rent apartment, apartment owner passport and ownership, photo)
2. Via agency. It costs about 1500 but it’s quick and easy way to

Victor Shataev thank you for your response sir, you suggest me which agency i can go to get it done easy and fast
There are plenty of youtube videos that highlight the process of how to purchase a motor vehicle in Thailand. Luckily in Pattaya you can get the residence certificate without filing for the 90 Day report. Get to know are area first in the next few days before you jump on an apartment.

Get a condo first, get the TM30 registered. Then you can get a Residence Certificate from Jomtien immigration. You need this to register the bike in your own name. My friend owns a garage and sells cars, and bikes. However, she is just outside Bangkok. Just talking to her the other day about entering the "foreign" market. Do you have a bike and budget in mind?
Let me ask my friend what she has in that budget but as I said she does not usually sell to foreigners at the moment. It is too much hassle. We did discuss setting up a website in English and providing this service last week though. I think it would be a great niche.
