MAKE SURE YOU BRING YOUR OLD PASSPORT WITH YOU UPON RETURN

You have enough room for the reentry and they'll fit your exit stamp in somewhere in your passport as it's only a small triangle

there's only 2 in Bangkok. Don Mueang is the low cost terminal on the north side

Don't fly into Don Mueang airport as they seem to be hammering people on multiple tourist visas/exemptions

@NaQuela ******
depends on your nationality OR if you get the correct paperwork from your employer or not. Sending you out to get a non B is the easiest option for the employer but certainly not necessary for everyone.

James Miller yeah I'm sort of giving them the benefit of the doubt because I've seen this 100 times and it's all because the school has no idea

Your work place has no idea what they're doing. You cannot get a work permit on a tourist visa. You take the paperwork from your employer to immigration and they'll give you a 90 day Non B stamp. From there you go and apply for your work permit. Once the work permit is granted, you take back to immigration to get your year extension of stay.

You need an employment cancellation letter from your employer. If you can at least get that off them, you can go to the labour office and cancel the WP yourself. Be aware though, as soon as you do thst, you must go to immigration and cancel your Non B visa and they'll give you 24 hours to get out of Thailand.

Use another consulate. If thats what they're telling you, listen to it and find somewhere else like Vietnam, Laos, KL.
